A Parenting Head Start
The Happy Parent Setup teaches parenting skills and methods for parents of children age 2-5 years.
The Happy Parent Setup is based on 3 core principles:
- The more knowledge and skills a parent has early in their journey, the better their journey is likely to be.
- As a parent we want to do things in ways that are likely to lead to good places, and to avoid those that don’t.
- Age 2-5 is the perfect time to set up successful parenting strategies and structures (see more below!).
The Great Window of Opportunity
Parents have an amazing parenting window of opportunity when their child is age 2-5.
- It is when their child learns how their world works.
- It is when they learn how to achieve.
- It is when they learn how to get the love and attention they need, and what types of behaviour work for them.
It is vital to get our parenting strategies and structures right during this time.
The Happy Parent Setup will help you to do this.
The Happy Parent Setup Teacher
The Happy Parent Setup is created and taught by Dr Grant Dale, a children’s doctor from Queensland, Australia. He has been helping parents with parenting challenges for well over 10 years.
Dr Grant was motivated to create The Happy Parent Setup when he noticed he was spending more and more of his medical practice helping parents with parenting challenges. More than this, parents would typically only come in when things reached crisis point. This got Dr Grant thinking - was there a way he could help parents earlier in their parenting path, before things became so problematic?
From this the idea of The Happy Parent Setup was born. Dr Grant has spent the last 5 years collecting and honing his ideas and techniques. He aims to give all parents access to knowledge and strategies that will give them their best chance for a happy and successful parenting journey.
